FAQ

Common questions

Where does the data come from?

From the mandatory filings that insiders submit: in the USA SEC Form 3 and Form 4 via EDGAR, in Sweden the Finansinspektionen insider register. New filings are loaded every hour.

Is this investment advice?

No. Insider Monitor presents public filings and makes no recommendations. Insiders buy and sell for many reasons; the tool gives you context for your own decisions.

How reliable are the numbers?

As reliable as the filings themselves, and checked on top. A repeatable audit compares samples with the originals at the SEC and FI. Obvious mistakes by filers are marked as implausible and not counted. The original is always one click away.

Which countries are covered?

Sweden and the USA today. Germany (BaFin) and the Netherlands (AFM) are planned.

How do I get Pro with my Substack subscription?

Sign up with the e-mail address of your paid Slow Compounding subscription. Pro is unlocked automatically and stays active as long as the subscription runs.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Monthly plans end at the end of the month, yearly plans at the end of the year. Your watchlists stay saved in the free plan.
